Our lapidary workshop is based near Jedburgh, in the Scottish Border Region, a mere stone's throw from the Cheviot Hills where we collect agates and other semi-precious stones. We have over 38 years of stone collecting and lapidary experience. Many of the stones shown on this site were personally collected by us from locations along the Scotland/England Border, Ayrshire, Kingdom of Fife, Scottish Highlands and some of the Islands. Each stone is selected for character, colour, and then diamond cut and polished to create that smooth high sheen. We will cut stones in standard shapes, suitable for ready made settings; we are also able to cut stones to order to suit your own project designs. Our speciality is in the field prospecting of gemstones from the Cheviot Hills, in which the National Museums of Scotland have taken a great interest and to whom we now supply Cheviot mineral specimens.
